ISCRR has now published its Annual Report for the 2013-2014 financial year.

The report was launched at the closing of the 4th Australasian Health Compensation Health Research Forum (ACHRF) in Melbourne on 19 November 2014.

To showcase the substantial research being undertaken across ISCRR's five theme areas, this year's report documents the latest research at ISCRR and highlights of achievements in 2013-2014. It also includes translational case studies showing real impact and an insight into the Institute's future direction.

Professor Alex Collie, CEO, ISCRR said: "This report addresses our key research achievements, people, and impact between July 2013 – June 2014. In short, it tells our story."

He continued: "The structure of the report reflects ISCRR's new direction based on our new five year strategic view – Strategy 2020. The report demonstrates how we are delivering research with impact through key case studies and research collected throughout the year. These support our vision to collaboratively develop, execute and translate the highest quality research which helps the Transport Accident Commission(TAC) and the Victorian WorkCover Authority (VWA) optimise their outcomes and those of their clients.

"The contents of this annual report demonstrate the past year as one of transformation and evolution for ISCRR. We have worked hard to put in place the strategy, structure and people to derive maximum value from these resources. I feel proud of what we have achieved together in the last 12 months and most appreciative of all the hard work put in by the ISCRR team to help make a difference through research which is core to improving injury prevention, rehabilitation and compensation."
