ISCRR five year research strategy
- Date:
- Aug 11, 2011
Research Strategy to 2015 is a plan for the future of
research to be conducted over the next five years. It
reflects the issues most frequently identified as those where new
knowledge could make the biggest impact.
Those areas are:
- Performance measurement
- Efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory systems
- Health and disability services delivery
- The impact of social factors
- Research to action - how to translate those research findings
into improvements which benefit the Victorian community both in the
short and the long term.
The strategy will help identify the actions needed to reduce
workplace and transport injury, improve outcomes for clients and
importantly, contribute to the long term financial viability
of the schemes.
ISCRR's approach to research in this field has the potential to
improve not only Victorian scheme efficiencies but to benefit those
in other Australian jurisdictions.
The strategy was formally launched by the Victorian
Assistant Treasurer and Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC,
the Hon. Gordon Rich-Phillips on 11 August 2011.
