Developing a policy response to wet work exposure
- DATE:
- February 2011 - December 2011
- CHIEF INVESTIGATOR: Dr Tessa Keegel
The results of this project will provide information regarding
patterns of wet work exposure, diagnosed disease and successful
claims data. It will assist in the development of appropriate
health and safety policies in relation to exposure to wet
work. This will ultimately lead to a reduction in occupational
contact dermititis.
The project will compare diagnosed occupational contact
dermatitis and worker's compensation claims to determine which
groups of people and industries impacted by wet work
exposure.
ISCRR is working with the Monash University Centre for
Occupational and Environmental Helath to deliver this project. It
is supported by an ISCRR Development Grant.
