Current Research at ISCRR

ISCRR has a number of high impact research projects currently underway. Here are a few examples to illustrate some of the key themes of our work for early 2026:

• An Evaluation of current workplace inspector tools.
• An Evaluation of the Network Pain Management Program. This evaluation aims to identify components of best practice pain management models to inform the future pain management service models.
• An Evaluation of the Nurse Navigator Pilot. This pilot’s aim was to test a multidisciplinary, early intervention, integrated surgical and non-surgical management approach to upper limb injuries.
• An Evaluation of the High Risk Pharmacy Project, a program that has already seen a reduction in prescribed medicines for injured workers.
• An Evidence Review of falls from heights (more than 2m) in the construction industry.
• A Research Project pulling together updated information to inform Safe Work Australia’s next version of the Taking Action Framework.
