Since 1 December 2025, WorkSafe Victoria’s new Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations came into effect, marking an important step in recognising psychological health as integral to workplace safety.

For those working in occupational health and safety, this reform represents a significant cultural and regulatory milestone. It reinforces a systems-based approach to prevention; one that prioritises job design, leadership, and organisational culture alongside individual wellbeing initiatives.

At ISCRR, we are proud to contribute to the evidence base that supports this shift. Our research continues to explore how workplaces can effectively prevent, respond to and recover from psychosocial harm, ensuring that interventions are both evidence-informed and sustainable.
