On December 9, 2021, we launched our ISCRR Learning Series. Associate Professor Sharon Newnam (Associate Director, Monash University Accident Research Centre) discussed how systems thinking can prevent workplace injuries.

Our most recent webinar was held on February 3, 2022 featuring ISCRR researcher Dr Sarah Oxford on the topic of Program Logic. If you would like to know more, you can gain an introduction by reading her blog article “What is Program Logic?”.

Recordings of both of these sessions are now available to stream on ISCRR’s Vimeo channel.

Dr Oxford covered what a program logic is, the reasons you would use one, while supporting her points with a detailed case study of a program logic created with WorkSafe Victoria. She also touched on how program logics help inform evaluations.

Attendees reported liking the clarity and length of the presentation, via a post webinar survey.

“This can be a difficult concept to understand, however today’s information was presented in a simple and very easy to follow manner.”

“I really liked the length and format. Having a bite sized session in a lunch time really works for me. Thanks Sarah for simplifying Program Logic and explaining it so well.”
